About the Event
This week we are joining forces with JW3 for an evening of cocktails and coming out stories. JW3 provides a safe space for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ or are currently exploring their identity, this extends to their growing online community during this time where we are unable to connect in person. They will be hosting a Zoom LGBTQ+ Cafe to create a regular sense of community and to explore issues relating to being LGBTQ+ and Jewish. We will be sharing some cocktail recipes and inviting everyone to take part in a conversation about coming out. LGBTQ+ members of our community will share their coming out stories and we will have a chat about the ongoing journey of coming out. JAMI will also join us and share some tips for self care during this time.
This event is suitable for those who identify as LGBTQ+ and are aged 18 to 35.
